Our Story

Paw & Wick Co. was inspired by two things that have always brought comfort into our home: our pets and the warm glow of a nice candle.

As pet owners and candle enthusiasts, we know how important it is to create a home that feels inviting, but also thoughtful. We wanted to create candles for people who love beautiful scents, cozy spaces, and the animals that make those spaces feel complete.

Locally operated in Calgary, Alberta, our candles are hand-poured with care using thoughtfully selected, locally sourced ingredients. From the wax to the fragrance blends to the finishing touches, every detail is chosen with intention so each candle feels personal, comforting, and made with purpose.

This business is built by us, with care, curiosity, and a genuine love for what we are creating. Every candle represents a small piece of that — from the scent choices, to the label, to the feeling we hope it brings into your home.

Our goal is simple: to offer candles that feel comforting, intentional, and pet-conscious, while building a brand that reflects who we are and what we care about.

Our candles are made using coconut soy wax blend, premium fragrance and essential oils, and a cotton, lead-free wick for a clean, comforting burn. Our candles are free from paraffin, parabens, phthalates, Lyral, and Lilial — because what we leave out matters just as much as what we put in.
